Thanks to all who responded.

Adding /forums to the end makes it all work.

I also dug out my old win 10 spare computer & had the same issue across 3 computers but Firefox syncs the bookmarks across all 3.

I cleared the cache & it works with just tractorbynet.com but automatically adds the /forums

As a side note: Firefox is a great browser and
It is strange, I searched TBN & all the returns had - /forums in the url.

I have always used tractorbynet.com

My other browsers all had the forums at the end????

Yes, it should also have /forums/ at the end now. But there was a very brief window of time where your browser snagged that default index file and is displaying that instead of the proper file that makes sure we redirect to the /forums/

But did that help with your Firefox access?

Yes it works fine by adding /forums to the url.

I am not sure what caused the change as it happened to all 3 computers running Firefox.

Norton browser & Brave both picked up the /forums automatically.

I have had issues in the past with the regular FireFox browser on this site and others.
This is called the Rapid Release right out of Beta testing. Most people use this and yes, there are still unresolved bugs and errors.

Then I switched over to FireFox ESR. From the time of the switch till now, no more issues anywhere.

Choose a Firefox update channel | Firefox for Enterprise Help

We currently offer two paths for Firefox updates: Rapid Release and Extended Support Release (ESR).
  • Rapid Release: receives major updates every four weeks and minor updates such as crash fixes and security fixes as needed during those four weeks.
  • Extended Support Release (ESR): receives major updates on average every 52 weeks with minor updates such as crash fixes, security fixes and policy updates as needed, but at least every four weeks.
Here is where you can get the MOST STABLE FireFox via the ESR link,
Download Firefox in English (US) and more than 90 other languages

Most businesses, financial centers, education centers, etc all use the ESR channel of the FireFox product.

''ESR versions are particular versions of Firefox that receive long-term support, meaning that they will get bug fixes and security patches for much longer than a regular release (around 42 weeks according to their website). Additionally, ESR versions have around 3 months of support from the release of the next ESR version, meaning that organizations and downstream repositories have some extra time to migrate before their browser becomes unsupported. For comparison, support for rapid release versions of Firefox is dropped as soon as the next release comes out.
