An example of problems: In the prior version I could use the page up/page down keys to move through this forum. They don't work now in spite of the settings. That is not due to wireless connection.
Did someone imply that any problem other than the timeout issue was due to using a wireless connection?

the previous fix in about:config no longer works because the string network.http.keep-alive.timeout is not valid in this version from what i saw.
Why do you say this? I am running 3.0.1 and the default setting is 300 and I just changed it to 500.

RE: wireless : Just reposting whats on the FF support forums Connection timeouts after upgrading to Firefox 3

It appears Network.http.keep-alive.timeout IS still valid. However Network.http.connect.timeout isn't. I mixed up the two in my response. My apologies.

Vernon. pgup and pg down has nothing to do with FF.

I only know that pg up and pg down were working within FF 3.0.0 and have not since the upgrade to FF 3.0.1.

Vernon, that's pretty weird for sure. If its only happening in FF, You likely turned on Caret browsing. try pushing f7 and see if it fixes it. Any problems in IE?

Thanks, That fixed it. On my Toshiba Fn+F7 adjust brightness. Must have released the Fn key by accident when changing the brightness level. Thanks

I don't use IE.

Glad that fixed it, i thought you couldnt page down in any apps at first. Are you still having timeout issues? I was wondering if you were having them in IE? If its only FF, then i can help you to increase your timeout setting and see if that may help a bit.
