Well considering all the work you've acomplished with the machine a little TLC wouldn't hurt it. Not sure if you've seen the BX service video I did. It may help you out.
Cheers.

Great video... thanks Paul. I am following your procedures almost to the 'tee'. So far, oil & filter change, air filter, debri shield, antifreeze top off and fan belt check/tighten complete. Got the skid plates dropped and have the first fuel filter replaced (that was a bit of 'b!tch'. Just not much room or give. Now I am looking at the brake system. Still need to replace other fuel filter, and replace the HST filter.

Wondering if I should go ahead and drain and refill the HST at 200 instead of prescribed 400hrs. Like I said these have been hard hours on the HST and implement hydraulics. Thoughts?

Upgrading your filter is a great investment.

One more thing, watch for fuel algae. I had a batch of it. Causing sputtering. Luckily with the clear Racor bowl I could see a slight film so I removed for inspection. Sure enough SLIME!!

A new filter and a strong dose of BioBor JF cleared everything up right good.

Oh and install some valves if you follow my install. I have pinchers, but they will make life 10x easier if you are not near a toolbox, like I was when my filter plugged.

Thanks Scooby... yeah the first of the two in line fuel filters was pretty dirty and I forgot about the valve I wanted to put in in front of the first filter. Dang it. The racer bowl filter I think is a good Idea. Did you leave in the first filter when you installed the Racor. I would presume you wouldn't need or even want it since it a pain to replace.

Also replaced the air filter which was much dirtier than I thought. I guess I was in a lot of dust the last a couple months.

Now if I can just figure out this dang parking brake problem. :confused3:

It's my opinion that changing the HST oil at 200 hours is a waste. I'm waiting until the 400 before I do mine.
Glad your getting something out of the video :dance1:

Okay guys! Hoping someone would chime in on this parking brake issue before morning! Otherwise I guess I am headed to my local dealer to climb under a new BX on the lot and take a look for myself. Yeah I know... why didn't I do that today while picking up filters? :mur: With all you BX guys out there though I thought I was going to get answer almost immediately. This conundrum (which shouldn't be) is bothering me.

I didn't know you needed a photo? You should have emailed me! I don't follow threads much on here anymore and it's 4:30am here but as soon as I get out I'lol snap a few photos of the park brake system on mine for you.

Here's a few photo's of the parking brake set up. I couldn't get any of the middle of the machine due to the skid pan. Insistently the silver piece you see is for the cruise if you were wondering. Last photo shows the park brake in the "On" position.
