,,,,,,,but its all about what you think,,I never did like buying something with a motor used,,,,cause I generally don't sell something till its worn out or just don't work right myself,,,assume other people are about alike in this regard,,,,,
Hey Dick,
That was my thinking exactly, as I also looked at the socalled reconditioned YanMoors. When I asked them if the hours on the tack was correct, even the selling dealer said not to count on it and that they often just switch tacks around however that they want to. It just seemed to risky for me, so I opted for a brand new Jinma. At least I know that it is new from the get go, and hopefully with good maintenance it will last. But that is just me and I know that there are others with used---,,,,,VERY USED,,,,,, Tractors that are coming out ok as well.
I just like the idea of getting Power Steering, Canopy, Spring Seat, 4WD, and the idea of getting a brand new tractor from the get go.
I also agree with you Dick, that at the current pace, The Chinese tractors are Fixing/Preparing to turn the Whole Tractor Industry on it's ,,,,,,, Ear. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
It's really a sad note, as the American Tractor Manufacturers had the opportunity years ago to continue to dominate the Tractor Industry, but because they chose to fatten their pockets, instead of producing tractors at a price that the economical owner could afford, they are about to fall by the wayside. Or should I say, Move their tractor plants to China or another country that will keep them in the market a while longer, until they can't exploit the buyers and fatten their pockets anylonger.
I watched a Farm Tractor Show on the History Channel the other night and it was about the John Deere Tractor manufacturing Plant. The tractor had Gps, Auto Steering, and they showed the Spring Seat, and commented that it rode so easy. It was such a beautiful tractor, the paint job was so shiney and it was the same color as MONEY , and I am quiet sure that it would get a blue ribbon at any Tractor Beauty Contest. I don't remember exactly how much the tractor was, but it was something like 200K.
My little tractor does't have Gps, Auto Steering, electronic digital fuel control, telephone, Steering Wheel HandWarmer, StereoPhonic Music, and I wouldn't take it to a Tractor Beauty contest either, but it does have a Spring Seat, & When I give it the gas, it pulls, & when I get to the other end it turns, and the next morning it is ready to do it all over again, and it only cost 5K.
