Re: first choice & Fort
There is allot of different MFG stuff out there that works but the dealer is the key. Education & proper assembly makes a customer a happy customer. In this day in time many of the people using tractors and implements did not grow up on a farm having established the skill and judgment in operation of both the tractor and implements. A dealer today must spoon feed many of his customers and hold their hands and make the items work in front of their eyes. Most of the MFG stuff out there is good for its intended purposes. I grew up in a time when the large hay baler was introduced. My family bought one just on the sight of round bales setting in a Iowa field after 2 months of summer rains that had not damaged the hay. We just were tired of 100,000+ square bales a summer. The only thing was Vermeer in 1972 had only one prototype baler and was taking orders for their first production. We bought one, the first one East of the Mississippi River, and now some 30 years later we have sold over 2000 New Vermeer balers and countless used balers of all makes. A dealers life blood is satisfied customers. A good dealer make the stuff work not the customer service in Wilson,NC or any where else. A good dealer knows the proper application to a customer's needs. Find a good dealer and they will have good products because they don't have time for junk.
