.Welcome to TBN. Congrats on the new Kubota. When I bought my L4400HST I was making a similar transition from a IH424 standard shift 2 wheel drive with no power steering. It is so much more enjoyable and not as taxing to operate. :thumbsup: Enjoy that new machine. But be cautious with the FEL if you have never run one before. Keep the bucket low when traming and do not raise the bucket sideways on a hillside as it can and will tip you over. use the seat belt. Have fun.

I hope my Kubota last half as long as my 8N, which is 63 years old. Probably not, just can't picture the L3940 running in the year 2062, but either will I! The new machines operate so nice and make task much easier. Will you miss the N? Someone else is getting a nice starter tractor! Enjoy new purchase! Philip.

Good for you. Never let those old pieces of history go if you can keep from it. Good looking L3200 you got.

The Kubota and Ford will make good stable mates, kind of like a horse and a goat. The 8N mainly gets used for 2 bottom plow work, moving trailers around, moving implements around, working tractor pulls, parades, and shows. Like yours, it has much family history. I suspect it will still outlast my L3940. It is still my sons favorite to ride on because it is the fastest. Philip.
