I have been reading this forum for the past year and a half.
I knew I wanted a NH before I found this place and was more convinced each time I visited here.

In the beginning, I thought I would buy a TC29 with SS.
As I read about your experiences, I changed my mind and I am happy to say, I am taking delivery on a TC33D with 7308 FEL and MMM on Friday. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am looking for a tooth bar for my FEL. The bucket is 68"
Does NH make one?
OR
Anyone know where I can get one?

If you do a search on toothbar there are few places you can get them. I am unsure if NH has one directly. Markham toothbars have been a hot subject.

Is that a used TC33D or a leftover new one at the dealer? Why did you decide to go with a 68" bucket instead of the 60" model? I think the 60" is a little better fit for the 7308's power. If your unit is used, you probably didn't have much choice, but a wider bucket takes a lot more power when digging.

Hi Jim

The TC33D is a left over from last year.

I am glad you asked about the bucket. We went to look at the tractor last night and it seemed large to me at the time. Since we have to wait while some valves come in and I am getting anxious, I took the owner's manuals home with me.

I saw that the 68" bucket isn't recommended for my tractor. My dealer ordered it in that way. He seemed to think that was what I needed and that I had plenty of power to use it.

I will call him this morning.

Hey Jim

Talked to my dealer about that bucket this morning.
He says he has never sold a tractor with a bucket that was not wider than the wheel base.
Says I will be glad I can get closer with that width and I won't be disapointed.

Guess I will just be careful not to overload it.
I'll let you know what I think after the weekend!
