First Project

My first official project with the new PT425. Although I have already used most of the implements I got with the new 425, this is my first official project. It was just a small project, removing an old plum tree stump, but it would have taken me all day using a shovel and it took about an hour with the 425 and the mini-backhoe. The base of the tree stump was about 6" diameter and one of the side roots was about 4" diameter. When I had the stump out, I used the small bucket to push the dirt back into the hole. The first picture is of the removed stump, which can be seen beneath the mini-hoe.

Keep those projects coming and everyone updated on your progress. We all learn from each others experience with the attachments. What great fun.

Second Picture. The plum tree stump removed. It doesn't look to menacing, but I have tried to remove it before and was unable (or unwilling to do that much digging with a shovel).

Third picture. Another shot of the removed stump, this time loaded on the small bucket, being hauled off for disposal. And PJ was right, my son is competing with me for seat time. He uses it more than I do. My son, being only 16, is monitored every time he does use the PT though.
