I like the tire idea, although I will not be taking that route. I am going to build it as tall as I can and see how fast I can get grass to grow. I had thought of putting sand on top of the gravel but only to help the grass start on the gravel. I do like the idea of being able to recover the lead at times. If I am not on the tractor or the range, I like sitting behind the Dillon XL 650. Reloading, one hobby that feeds another hobby.

Up here the range police suggested tires filled with dirt to support a berm. Then a few years later they changed their minds and made all "approved" ranges remove the tires. Since we can only use handguns on "approved" ranges this cause a few hard feelings....
