Looks like we are going to get our first real rain on this Truck Patch today. I have been watering it and have grass growing. The Kale and Curley Mustard I planted is already up. It should do even better with rain from Heaven. I will try to get some pics of it and post them today.

What a difference it makes with the roadway on left side having grass growing in it. Sure makes all that labor worth it. It is coming together like it should. Sure makes a person proud to have had something to do with this Truck Patch coming together.

Take a look and remember this just as it has started raining for the first time and suppose to rain the majority of the day. You will see that the sprinkler was on when it started raining when I took this picture. Mother Natures Rain should make it come in stronger and quicker.

There is something I am looking for to go with the Truck Patch Garden. As you see there is Grass Strips and Roadways built in the garden. I think it would be easier on them if I could find a 4X4 Gator to use in the garden to take fertilizer, pre-grown plants to their location. Also to harvest with. I am looking for a New or Used Gator with the ag type tires on it. I am sure since JD makes these that they probably will be expensive so if anyone has a used one they would like to sell... please contact me by PM here at TBN or email me at bsm357@aol.com

Another Update on the Truck Patch!

I purchased some more items to go into the Truck Patch Garden.

01) Yellow Onions

02) Red/Purple Onions

03) Brussell Sprouts

04) Broccoli

05) Spinach

06) Succession Cabbage

07) Round Dutch Cabbage

08) Thomas Laxton Peas

09) Butter Crunch Lettuce

This should be a nice addition to the food grown. I should be able to plant by Thursday if it doesn't rain anymore than it has. Especially if we have mid 90's for a day or two like we have been having.
