I look forward to meeting you.

Now an update on todays progress:

Today I harvested the last of the greens remaining and gave them to a Children's Home and then plowed and prepared it for planting.

I planted 22 tomato plants - 4 Red Beefsteak Tomato and 18 Big Beef Tomato. Will post pictures tomorrow because I worked by automobile light tonight to get the tomato plants in just in case of rain.

I hope it isn't too early to plant them. I need to get as much in the ground tomorrow as I can. They are calling for rain tomorrow evening. I will plant another 220 feet of Butterfruit Corn and prepare lower part for planting by plowing it one last time. It should be in pretty good shape then. I want to plant some cucumbers, squash and some green beans. I will tell you more and post pictures tomorrow evening.

Sorry Guys... I worked til' dark again. It's about 10 pm here and I just walked in. I will take some pictures in the morning. It looks completely different now. I bush hogged the grassed areas. I plowed part of the lower part today. I also changed the oil and filter on my tractor today at 56.4 hours. I had a time finding a filter to fit the tractor and made several trips to NAPA to finally get the correct filter. I ended up with a NAPA 1516 to fit it. I tried to find the exact one but it wasn't to be found. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif The one that was on the tractor was a C-1103. It had several crossover numbers on it but still no luck.

By the way... the mini greenhouses are working... I have some pumpkins, cantalope and watermelon coming up now. The tomato I have started from seed has not popped thru yet /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Have a Great Day. Cya tomorrow.

I did it again... worked until dark. I won't be working tomorrow so I will take pictures tomorrow.

Strange how volunteer grass comes in places where you don't want it and other grass is hard to get to live where you place it.

Ok ladies & gentlemen:

I have a question for you. With the volume of water we have available... we could support a small bottled water company. This could be a great income but the cost of setting it up would be quite expensive. At 60 gpm we could easily pump 86,400 gallons a day. Maybe I could find a couple of partners to get this up and running. Could be that it would support my Food Program and pay the bills here.

What do you think??

What kind of market is available?

Billions of gallons of bottled water are being consumed in the USA... not to mention the rest of the world. Doing a Search through Google on how much bottled water is consumed each day will answer the question of the market and the market continues to grow rapidly. The average price of a liter is $2.50 each and $10.00 us dollars per gallon. Actually the way I see it... Hey Jed... you just struck liguid gold!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ok I hope that will answer your question. I would be glad to post some links to info if you like.

I have taken pictures this morning... I will share them now.
