First Serious Project - Clearing 1.5 Acres

<font color="blue"> At $15 a day storage, I'd put an orange triangle on the back of it and drive it away. I've driven one of my tractors 30 miles along the side of the road and would have gone allot farther if I had to.

Just DOOO ITTT !!!!!!!!!! </font>

I'd loan him my trailer also, if he was closer.
However, I've driven my Ford 8N a number of miles on the road in a rural area with a five gallon gas can strapped behind the seat!

Good Point... That is what I planned to do. However, I would be driving it from Georgia to SC... about 35 miles. I didn't want to damage the tractor. I have Finally gotten a trailer today January 16th, 2006. Praise the Lord!! I will post pictures of it soon. It is a 1986 model... a little heavier than I need but it came at a good price. I will post pictures in a few days... it is raining here today. God has blessed us with a trailer. Now I need to pay for it but God will provide a way... I got it at a Great Price and it's a Gooseneck with a 21 ft 2 inch flatbed with tilt bed.

I will be going to get my tractor tomorrow as I got the trailer late today. I made sure the brakes were in good working condition and all lights were working correctly. It's heavier than I need but the right length for tractor with FEL and BH... I shouldn't be pulling it much except from job to job and for routine service hopefully.

Where's the ramps? LOL... this is a Break down trailer that has no ramps. It is rated at 12,000 lbs. and very easy to load tractor & equipment. The Gooseneck pulls and backs a lot easier than a Tag-A-Long. I wouldn't want another Tag-A-Long after pulling this. It is so much better.

By the way, the tractor place messed up my PTO Clutch that slips on the PTO shaft. If any of you have an extra one laying around that you want to get rid of... It would be Greatly Appreciated. They Lost the pin that holds it on and they messed up the threads. I have enclosed a pic of this. It was brand New and had only been used about two or three times.

Jim,
Nice trailer; hope you have years of a trouble free tractor.

I am looking at the same type Gooseneck. In NC I have to have a "Classified A" license for anything over 10,000lb. Already talked with county DMV and confirmed on the state level. What do you have to have in SC?
