Hi Duane,
Nothing earth shaking has happened so far, but the year is not over yet. You may or may not remember, that i had problems with the hour meter. So i must be around 1500 t0 1800 hrs now.
That high and commercial usage entails replacement and upgrading to a heavier type hydraulic hoses.
Our attachment development is mowing forward. Our newest addition to our development crew of many is Steve, a former Millcreek (mulch, manure spreader etc) inventor. We are working and are almost finished with converting a 60 inch pt grass mower into a self powered mower. Steve will use this mower (attached) with a horse drawn buggy. Steve is a very accomplished machinist, farbricater but he belongs to the old order Amish community and can't use some of the inventions he is building for us.
The hydraulic motor from the 60 inch pt mower is now on the resurrected multiflora bush saw. We are still looking for the right sawblade to finish that project. The green beasty, the saw, at the end of the grapple boom will get scratched and not my arms, when we cut down thorny under growth, from now on.
The quick attachment device from the 6o" pt mower is now on one of my Kunz finish mowers and moves just nicely in front of the green beasty (pt 425). All wheels swiveling and hardly any drain on the hydraulic output of my pt, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifsince the mower has it own 16 hps power source.
Watch for machineshope.com, the site will be up soon, where you will get some help with your special attachments invention or creation help. Basic help will be free. For the design, testing and fabricating of your special attachment needs this site will be very reasonable for USA standards.
