First time Kubota owner - help!

That is a current model tractor and although the dealer might not have a spare one for you he should be able to order one for you. I think that if you were to load the rear tires that is all I'd recommend if you need to load them but I try to get people to not load them normally if they don't have to. It is some of the cheapest ballast to buy to offset the loader.

You don't have to get the tires filled. I haven't yet and just use the box blade for ballast when I use the loader, which is almost all the time. If you are thinking about loading your tires there is lots of information on this site, including alternatives to calcium chloride, like antifreeze and washer fluid.

You are really going to like your tractor and it will last a long time. I use mine whenever I can, and I'm only putting about 35 hours a year on it. I don't expect I'll have to replace it for a long, long time. The 2710/2910/7800 series of tractors is a really nice size for smaller acreages. Lots of power in a compact package.
