I bought my 1500D 4WD Yanmar just over 10 years ago now. I bought from a private party and because of the lack of available information pretty much learned how to operate and maintain it on a trial and error basis. It has been pretty much trouble free and have only badly scared myself with it once so far.
I’ve got 40 acres, most of it steep and heavily timbered. This Spring I bought an ATV to drag logs out where I don’t dare go with the tractor. One of the ATV sites I read referenced this site and I couldn’t believe how much information is now out there. I’ve spent the last five days, a couple of hours a day, (been down with a cold,) reading past posts. I’m back nearly 18 months now and know more about my tractor then I’d learned in the last ten years. I’ve cut and pasted a file folder full of projects and am still reading.
