No- there are 24 60# bags on the pallet 8 per layer ( 3 wide 2 in the middle and 3 on the other end) middle layer-and 2 rows of 4 top and bottom .
that doesn't count the forks, pallet, or the double walled Ford bucket - and i am sure if it had a quick attach without the factory bucket (moving the pallet closer to the pins it would lift considerably more)- the 730 loader is rated at 2000#s to full height...
This might make it clearer
and it easily lifts this size of bale-and has stacked them 4 high on the sides which is one of the things the OP will need- with horses and round bales, Any of the older 2 wheel drive AG farm tractors with a a loader and some weight on the 3 point will do what was mentioned, and for less than a newer small cut.
if the budget is there then a newer 4x4 HD CUT or AG tractor is preferable.
Smoke- Getting on here a little late but wanted to weigh in on the L2250. I have a 1987 and bought it used in 2001 with 1100 hours on it. It is my first tractor and has done all that I have asked of it with only minor repairs needed. We use regular bales for our horses so cannot help you with the round bale issue. I use the tractor for brush hogging, snow clearing, manure removal, gravel driveway upkeep, etc... The price for the one you are considering seems on target assuming it has been cared for. Best of luck and post some pictures if you buy it.
