First time using my snow blower

Thats the kind of snow I want to really try this thing out. The snow is now moving back north so I guess not this storm.

A neighbor has a stone drive way that I didn't plow because the stones have not frozen yet and I didn't want to plow out all his stones. Although I may have to do it anyway depending on how much snow we get tonight.

I live in east side of buffalo and am right on the edge of the storm. I think we have only about 4-6 inches. Two blocks south of here there is more snow than we have. I hear the some parts of south buffalo have about 36" of snow. :confused2: Was able to use my V plow first time. Works great. That's a lot of snow. Wish it would come our way. Here in Maine it is still a question whether winter will arrive or not. Been relatively warm with only wet precipitation falling in the form of....rain. (thumbs down)

Hello all,
Just found this forum and I am amazed at the info available. My 2004 JD x595 just came back from the dealer today - they mounted up the 47" front blower. I have a shorter, but steep and tight driveway and a large parking area to keep clear (all concrete and asphalt) and got tired of the difficulty involved with plowing it. I am glad to hear there are others running the same type of rig. I am in southeast Iowa with no snow yet, but we can get very little or very much in any given season. After last winter I decided it was time to do try something better!
