Took all your good advice and went to the dealer, and looked at them all, poured over the specs and decided. Strangely, between the B2920 and the L3400, I decided on the L2800.
I determined the loader on the 2920 was just too small for what I wanted. The L2800 is the essentially the same as the 3400 except the horse power, but more in my price range.
Once I rented a B21 with a tiller to make my garden with. It has less PTO power than the L2800 and it was fine for what I was doing. I anticpapte having a small brush hog as my pasture is not that big, so think the L2800 will be adequate.
Of course if I find some great deal on a 3400 that gobbles up some of the $2000 price difference, I might spring for the 3400, but do not think I need the extra horsepower. I noted that the new models have an extra horsepower for both the 3400 and 2800 compared to previous models anyway.
