I dunno, I used the 0% financing when I purchased my tractor. The cash price was the same as the 0% offer, so I thought I might as well finance...I didn't want a large monthly payment, so I put down a cash deposit of $18,000 to bring my payment down. (not cash, but I wrote a check, there's a thread on that too)

There are JD dealers near you and that works out well for any service calls. But, I would check JD dealers that are out of your area and you may get a lot better deal. The close dealers will still have to fix it for you contrary to what many people may say.

I checked 5 dealers withing 40 miles from home in WI for a CUT but ordered a new one from Missouri for thousands less with delivery included. In your travels stop at every JD dealer you can find and you might find one who is willing to bend more.

Same for me. I live close to Kansas City on the Kansas side but got the best deal out of Nevada Missouri. And yep, any dealer has to fix it. I sent e-mails out to roughly 10 dealers for pricing and got the best deal there. Did the whole thing over the phone, my salesman delivered the tractor personally along with all the paperwork including, yes, the JD 0% financing.

Here is an example. This ad reads Cash Price $38,900 Finance Price $39,250. Not a huge difference but if anybody pays the same price in cash as they are offered with zero percent financing their dealer just pocketed a chunk of their money.

My guess is those are probably some kind of Administration fee's as well as State Fee's to record the lien. Lots of car dealers charge an admin fee when financing.

You could be right, that isn't much of a discount. When I was shopping last October Kubota had a $1000 credit if you didn't take the 0%.

I do have one question; is there a clause which voids the deal if you are late on a payment?

Sometimes they also include a clause which voids your 0% financing, which I believe is retroactive to the date of purchase. I was just curious if that was the case with tractors.

I did not see it on my loan with kubota , Just a late fee I'm usually 2 or 3 months ahead

That's a good way to be. I pay most of my bills online, but have one which I need to mail. I always make sure that it goes out soon enough so that if it gets lost in the mail I will know before the due date.
