Well, you do have Runnings down the road a bit in Claremont. That's a cool store, we'll make a point of stopping there when we're in the area.No RK in our zone yet, guess it's TSC or road trip.

My Rural King is stocked to the rafters, but a few weeks ago it looked very bare. If you have a Rural King there’s no point in going into Tractor Supply. For non-farm home supply Menards is the absolute king.Had my first opportunity to visit a Rural King today. What a fun store! Like many retailers these days, the shelves were a bit on the bare side, but still love that there's a store that sells lawn and garden, tractors, guns, fishing gear, baby chicks, tools, and pretty much anything one could think of for rural living. Only had a few minutes to look at the RK tractors and implements, but that was fun, too.
I like Tractor Supply a lot, but Rural King is a whole 'nother level.
But like RK, it's only a regional chain. For non-farm home supply Menards is the absolute king.
Rural King has better pricing than TSC... I love a Rural King... it’s a mess, but I can find things myself, I don’t need customer service.
Ewwwah. You eat them things? Can't go to Rural King without getting a bag of orange slices.![]()
Yes, I have teeth. They're orange. But I have them. The great thing about those orange slices is you can eat them now and save a little in your molars for later.Ewwwah. You eat them things?
Got teeth? lol

Pretty much everything is 30 miles from my house, except the doctors, they are up to 70 miles.Just went to RK today. Picked up a couple of pairs of jeans, disks for my angle grinder, and new stone for the bench grinder, wild bird food, strawberry/rhubarb jam, triple berry jam, can of brown spray paint, can of spray Flex-Seal, a "Beware Of Attack Rooster" sign and a bag of malted milk balls.
It's a good thing they are 30 miles away, or I'd be there every weekend instead of once every couple of months.
There aren't many places you can get all those items under one roof.
