:welcome: to TBN fellow Oregonian! My assumption on the 3 point hitch is a leaky hydraulic valve or a bad seal around the piston. Does it lift a considerable amt. of weight off the 3 point hitch or is it weak? My 3 point hitch on my 169D was very weak and it ended up being a $4 O-ring that goes around the piston and seals off pressure inside the cylinder. The cylinder is directly under the seat. It is a pretty simple repair, I did it in 1 day including locating the new O-ring. :) As for paint on your Yanmar, it came in either red or green from the factory. Yours appears to be originally green but I am not sure where you could get an exact match to it. Yanmar Tractor Parts - Shop Online sells exact match Yanmar red paint if you would like a pretty red tractor. Either way, welcome to the forum, glad to have you aboard!.

The picture you posted actually is a 155D, not a 1500D, that is good. For parts, check out this link.

The 155D is a domestic Yanmar which means it was intended for the U.S. market. The 1500D was a grey market tractor which means it was intended for use in Japan, not the U.S. Parts availability is probably about the same, a lot of 1500's have been imported here.

Hey Thanx!, Yep it was Green, many coats of paint brushed on it through out the years living over at the Coast, Boy Im glad they atleast did the paint brush action!! Still pretty rough, but could be worse, 3 digit hr meter reads 43.5?, Hoses are really cracked bad, 1 leaks, but all is good, Im happy, I think I might sell my Wheelbarrow!!, Jr

The hour meter likely rolled over at 999.9 so it could have 1043.5 hours or 2043.5 hours. Does the hour meter work? Mine didnt when I got my tractor so i ordered a new cable from Hoye and replaced it myself. Not the tach. and the hour meter work great. I would highly recommend replacing the hoses, cracked hoses will eventually fail and hot hydraulic fluid isn't good for your skin. Safety first at that. :)
