Flail Mower ID help

Can anyone identify the manufacturer of this mower? Also, if you know what it is, is it any good? Seller cannot find manufacturer, but sais it's a model 23194.

Happy Easter and good evening to you,


Until I know what the color of the paint is
under the mower hood I can only hazard a
guess that it is a Ford flail mower.


BUT the remnents of a decal on its right side
lead me to think its an old Mott Interstater.


If you cannot find an identification tag on
the weldments in front or behind the guard covering the
shaft exiting the gear box and going to the belt guard
the only other option is to try and identify the gearbox.


Remove the belt guard and dig around under the dirt
and the serial number and brand tag may be under
all the dirt and rubber caked on the underside
of the belt guard.

More pictures if possible will tell us a thousand words
before you take the first step with this mounted implement.

Thanks, I would like to get more pictures to help identify this mower, but It's for sale right now and it's a good 1 1/2 hours away. I have annother reason to drive out that direction, but I was hoping I could find some information on this mower before I make the trip.

Take a small hammer with you to check for weak spots or bad welds, if it
sounds solid you will have no reverb when you tap it slightly.
