Flashlight

Prime seems like a good deal if you order a lot. I'll maybe order 3-4 times a year, not enough to justify the cost. I'll just wait until I have a large enough order to qualify for their slow free shipping. If I need something in a hurry I probably wouldn't buy it online.
Not really interested in video streaming.
And remember Prime can be shared between consenting adults. My daughter has prime and shares it with me. The main benefits I'm interested in are quick shipping and early access to lightning deals. Especially when I'm in Northern Virginia and can often get next day shipping on things, sometimes even same day shipping.

So I got one of those cheap wilker flashlights. Man if feels really chinsy. The lense is loose even all tightened down.

I'd does however throw out an amazing amount of light.

We'll see how long it lasts.

Maybe they forgot to use the chinese glue on yours.. Mine is tight.

Sam's Club for the last couple years has had those nice little three AAA single LED focusable Tasco flashlights for $20. You even get duracells for them! I got one set and I like them so much I went and got another set a year later, not super grand quality but they sure do light up the woods 200 yards out and it worked fine and they're not that expensive to make you cry when one disappears.

I like it and it's only $5317.00 a month.

Now I just have to figure out how to get $5317.00 a month.

By the way it's going you'll get there quick by selling $5.00 flashlights and warrantying for $7.00, not to mention how good your wife feel with that shiny new ring, just keep repeating the word only!!

Well, I just ordered this deal from Amazon, with free prime shipping. It comes with the rechargeable Lithium battery and charger and a 3 aaa cell adaptor also and a carrying case for all of it for $12.98. All I will say is you are one heck of a flashlight salesman, I think you have sold several just this morning...:D

Let us know how it holds up. I've read various reports on that speciffic light, some ok, some not so good.

I use flashlights every night out with the dogs.

Personally, I'm a streamlight kind of guy. Just picked up a HL4 and on high, it can get out to 300 yards pretty well with a wide area to boot, but on high setting, 90 minutes seems kind of fluffed up by the tech on the light. Light is also on the larger size, hard to fit in a coat pocket. The light also ran $80

Generally if a light can fit in my pants pocket easy and I can see pretty well out to 100 yards with it, I'm happy.

I have gone the less expensive route and after a couple of months of continuous use, I end up going back to streamlight.

Did pic up a $15 smith and wesson light on sale at cabbalas when I placed an order, and so far, have been very happy with it.

Are you sure the crenelated bezel ring is tightened down? I took mine apart and when I put it back together I didn't get that front ring tight enough, and the lens was loose. I just tightened it down a bit more and it was solid again. Also the adaptor sleeve for the lithium ion 18650 battery fits kind of loosely and would rattle inside the tube body. I wrapped the battery with about 1/4 of a kleenex and then slipped the adaptor over that and now it rattles no more.

I saw the exact same flashlight I paid $12.95 for (delivered to my home by the brown truck) at Home Depot for $19.88. But it did not include the lithium battery, nor the charger nor the neat battery case to store your accessories in. I was even more pleased with my selecting it at Amazon.

I removed and reassembled the lense and ring several times. There's at least 1/16 inch play. Should there be an oring there? I thought about adding one.

I wonder if your threads were not threaded deep enough. I did not see an O ring there, but one wouldn't hurt.

Let me go look and see if there is a ring under the lens.. I will get back to you in a second..
