Flat bed to dump box conversion?

I've seen slide in inserts to put a removable dump box into a pick up truck box. I was wondering if somebody offered a similar conversion for a flat bed trailer? I know it's not as ideal as a dedicated dump trailer, it's just that I have an occasional need for a dump trailer, but not enough of a need to justify purchasing one. I was thinking about this as I was shoveling 5,000lb of rocks off my flat bed trailer.

My FIL mounted a slide in pickup bed dumper on his trailer. Worked well enough, trailer was short enough and heavy enough to handle it, with rear axles close to rear of trailer. That becomes an issue, weight transfer to rear of trailer during dumping.

All I've seen for flat beds is a hoist to put underneath so the bed would dump. Depending on the truck, a pickup bed dump kit may work on a flat bed.

Those kits are cool. Seems like the designs of the hydraulic geometry puts them in a bad leverage position, though.

A dump kit for flatbed trailers is a great idea as everybody has a flatbed and needs a dump at one time or another. Time to get creative.
