Don't care for fix a flat type products.
Some of them fill the tire with explosive gases.

They also become a gummy gooey mess that is a bear to clean up inside the rims

( As I've said before, a couple of years ago my record was 13 flats in one year, on two tractors ... all in the front. That was preSlime. Since then, I've not had one on a treated tire ... touch wood fast. But, as far as your theory goes, I have had flats on the back too, only 3, I think. They are a booger though as there is nobody around here that will come out to fix them anymore because of liability issues. It's up to you to get it off, get it in, get it fixed, get it reinstalled. Oh, I hate a flat on the rear!!!!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif )

It seems like the casings and the tread are pretty thin and soft on the front tires of my power kraft l&.g tractor.
They quickly become like a pin cushion for briers and short thorns.
Once that happens they're shot and must be replaced as you can't even put a tube in them.
It isn't long before a new tire becomes a pin cushion and the whole cycle starts all over again.

It's been my experience that every flat tractor tire I have had has been a front tire.
What's yours?

It's been my experience that when I get a flat tire, it's only flat on the BOTTOM! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Did you use Armor-Seal or Heavy Duty ?
Bob

I used the heavy duty sealer myself..

I purchased a 5 gallon pail and have about 1/2 gallon left. I'll most likely add that to what's already in the rears before next winter.

Obviously it's random betweem front and rear depending on what you hit or run over. In my case it's ususally rear tires. I attribute it to the face that they are many times more expensive to repair. Fronts may go first since they are weaker tires and hit whatever first.
