We just sold a excellent used M&W 15 ft for $6500 off our farm and bought a New Woods 180 for $11,400. I don't know if I would try the Howse batwing?? Ken Sweet

I would stay away from the HOWSE mowers. M&W, bush hog, mohawk and bush wacker are all good mowers and you can prob pick a good used one up pretty cheap. I have a bush hog i might be getting ready to sell.

You will need 4 lines out the back to run a batwing. Ken Sweet

Ill have to look at the model of the one im selling, i have three of them and went blank on this one. Its easier if you have two valves on your tractor(4 ports) but i have learned to do it with two the way i have it set up on my tractor. Its about 6 years old and is still in great shape.

I wouldn't wish a Bushwhacker on my worst enemy.

I'm a howse fan (small F) and at $10,300 (my dealer) for their 15' BW its not the steller deal, IMHO, as my 8' twin.
Lots of stuff on these (hoses,TBOX? gear boxes, flex couplings,blades:confused2:).
To me it would be hard to justify a new unit. at 1/2 the cost (based on the highly objective interlaux used farm equipment index)a used unit would be so sweet I wished it was my girl friend!
If you buy new... get the blades you need - high vac/grass:thumbsup: NOT straight bush
