Hi... Hope someone out here can help... My tractor was flipped by a farm hand and it lay on its side for about five hours. After letting it sit overnight, There is oil "on top of the cylinders"...
If there is anyone who can give me information on how to relieve this pressure please do!!! I don't know a whole lot about tractors other then they carry hay and water to my horses.
I have read some if these forums and am wondering if removing the glow plug is the answer. If so... Where us it and how do I get it out. Girl like!!! Thanks:cool2:

I can't help you, but please do NOT crank the engine over. If there is oil in the cylinders, it will hydro-lock on you and you'll likely bend a rod.

Remove the glow plugs, and preferably crank the engine by hand if you can. or just bump it slowly with the starter, with the glow plugs removed. This is to get the oil out of the cylinders.

But I gotta ask..........how do you know there is oil on top of the cylinders?
