Float feature- how do I know?

FWIW the BX2230 does have the float feature. So therefore I would assume that the BX23 has is.

I'll get my valve looked at. I took off the cover and I don't see anything wrong, but the float is clearly not working. It does sound like a common problem. My 3 year old bx23 had only 100 hours on it, so it sat for a while before I bought it.

From what I understand. Ya gotta take the cylinder thingys off the bottom of the valve, theres where the problem is, the springs and balls and water inside there.
