I have a Kioti CK35, the only problem I have had is the bucket will not float, every thing else works good but the float, any help please..
Thank you, it worked for awhile but now it will not pop into the detent, the tractor only has 200 hours but bought it new in 2010. I just feel it's something in the valve body, have a good evening..A better description of the issue would help.
Float is a function of the loader (joystick) valve, you push the joystick forwards (or up depending on how it's mounted) and when it stops, you sharply push it a little further till it "pops" into the float detent. You can try lubricating the linkages to help some, but if it's never been used it can be quite stiff for awhile.
Thank you oldnslo, I hope you have a wonderful day..Will the not go into float mode or just not stay detented in the float mode?
On vast majority of valves there is a can or cover that goes over the detent assembly. Depending on the valve is mounted and made these can fill with crud over time causing the detent to stop working. Removing the cover usually is very easy. Finding all the parts that can possibly fall out is the challenge.. If valve is where you can visually inspect it I would look for holes in this cover and see if they look like could have fillled with water or crud over time.
Not familiar with brand or construction of valve or your Kioti so hopefully someone will chime in that has taken one apart.
Thank you for the pictures, gives me a idea what to look for, have a good day.Depending on the construction, you may have to do a little maintenance. Picture is from MF FEL valve. It gets crusty over time. The detent may or not be on the end of a spool, on the outside of the valve. It may use a ball, or split ring to lock into the float position.
