Flooding

   / Flooding #21
I just read that the dam in Midlothian is now stable and not in any fear of failing. Of course, with the forecast being more severe storms every evening for the rest of the week, that could change any day.

Last nights storm dumps another 1.5 inches on us and kept us up most of the night with the non stop thunder and lightning.

The tornado that hit the town my son in law lives was classified as a F2. The power poles where snapped off in half and some of them that remain standing had the top cross members tore off. Plus there are a lot of trees laying on power lines. There are paths to get through town, but there a also a lot of streets that are still blocked due to trees and power lines. It's expected to take one to 2 weeks to get power back.
