2x10's 16" o.c are good support ... I re read your orginal post and no mention of sag ... I quess I got that out of somewhere???
Anyway, with that being said ... underlayment on the floor and the snap together tile for under $600 ... well your going to have a great vacation!!!

I know the house is not sagging due to the incredible amount of iron holding it up, so it must just be sloppy workmanship. But nothing is square, nor level. When I was laying the laminate I kept having to adjust the spacers and eventually some of them were so tightly wedged I simply could NOT get them out. Also, by the time I got to the opening into the family room (right in the center of the house) the boards looked like a Evil Knievel Ramp (slight exaggeration).
I will keep this updated and actually post pictures etc...
