I would like to put inline flow control on my backhoe stabilizers so that when I bring them up, I can control how fast they come up so that I shock the rear end less. I tend to bring them up quickly and since my 3320 has an aluminum rear housing it makes me nervous.

You don't have to pull the control lever all the way open do you? Can't you just feather the flow and raise them slowly? :confused3:

I certainly can, if I remember. Flow control will take that issue out of the equation.

+1. Nothing like learning how to use your equipment properly. Full time restrictors in these circuits will be a PITA.

+2. It will add delay every time you raise or lower or adjust the stabilizers.. Major PITA potential.

I do believe he said he wanted slow.

He apparently has tried the feather and doesn't like it.

I would learn the feathering trick. Slowing it down so they dont "shock" the tires is going to be a PITA and painfully slow when you need to raise them the rest of the way up. My big BH has painfully slow outriggers. I hate it. Something about feeding a 4-1/2" cylinder with like a 1/4" line:confused2:

And I thought the 303x tractors were the only ones with aluminum rears??? I thought the 3320 was cast iron like most others.
