Fluorescent bulb life

Did you get those 130V bulbs at Lowes? I have 217 incandescnet bulbs and change several some weeks. I buy bulbs by the case, usually several cases at a time.

Jerry - 130 bulbs are dimmer than 120 if the same watts. Less light output from a cooler filament. For longer life from a conventional bulb you will lose light output or, for the same output level your electric bill will be higher. Check out the compact fluorescent bulbs.

i bought them at a local electrical supply, i changed to the cf before lowes came in, so i haven't checked to see if they have them or not, but the 130v bulbs sure stopped the frequent changing for me.

I would like to have them, but for the quantity that I would have to have they would be cost prohibitive.
