Hey everyone. It been a while since i been here.
So I still don't have a shop so all my welding is done out in the open. Been welding with a Lincoln Idealarc 250. Last year I purchased a little 120V YesWelder 135 flux core machine cool machine for less than $80.
Am thinking of buying a 220V machine mainly because every time I turn the heat on my little welder it keeps tripping the 20A circuit breaker.
I was thinking the YesWelder 250Pro. Wondering if anyone have experience with that model or any other cheap under 500 if possible lol.

Had the breaker tripping problem with my Hobart Handler 140.... Come to find out, it draws 24.167 amps (2.90 kVA) when running flat out.... Solution was to run a 10 gauge wire from 30 amp breaker to a dedicated 120 volt type receptacle ... And yes its legal if receptacle is labeled for welder use only per NEC......

Yeswelder gets great reviews so I've recommended them to a few people, my brother just ordered one of their dual voltage stick welders so we'll see on that guy... DC would be nice, his A/C transformer unit works but DC is nicer to use and lets you use 7018...

That said I have the Harbor Freight Titanium MIG 170 and Unlimited 200 and have ran them on flux core and on on 220 they work fantastic, I would expect a yeswelder to work similar, I have a friend that might of ordered that model and he says it welds great.
