Tires Foam filled tires...should I?

Never say never. Thats when my ol bud Mr. Murphy sneaks up and bites you.

Thanks for answering my question. This summer I've done a lot of different work at a lot of different locations. Sometimes I vary my air pressure a couple of times a week, for optimum traction.

Yes, cost is a disadvantage. I use Calcium Chloride in the
rear tires, better ballast and flexibility to change pressure.
But the front tires are foam filled, for puncture resistance
in the woods, and to support the weight of a loaded FEL.
Do this when you're mounting new tires, since the foam will
cost you $70 or more per tire and you'll have to cut the tire
off the rim when you're ready to change again. Also my
supplier often makes me wait several days, as it is more
cost effective for him to do a batch of several tires rather
than 2 small tires. Other than that, it's great stuff.

Well, after much thought, I ended up going with R4s, and buying a b2910 Kubota, so I don't feel the worry about flats that I had with the bar/turf combo that it looked like I might get on a 2410.

So I have decided not to foam fill the tires, and not even to fill them at all on purchase. But I may go to a place that is going out of business and buy a bunch of windshield washer fluid, at 80 cents per gallon, and fill the tires myself, if I find where to buy one of the special fittings that are used for this purpose...

That is where my head is at the moment.
