Followup to Post \"FEL or Rear Blade\"
Well, about a month ago I posted "FEL or Rear Blade" because I was having trouble with the Fill that I got when the government was ditching our road in preparation for paving. Thanks to all who responded. Henro's comment/advise was to let it dry out and then I'd probably be able to handle moving it better. Good Advise, Makes Sense. Well it's now 5 weeks later & not a lot of rain lately so I figured I'd tackle it again. I told my wife I was gonna spend an hour down over the hill & 2-1/2 Hours later I've got virtually nothing accomplished. Why, because I was STUCK; not just once but twice. I've got to rethink how I'm gonna level this area because what I'm doing now just isn't working. I'm thinking of coming sideways at it with the hoe & scraping the material & then moving it over bit by bit. This will be time consuming but should work; what do you think ??? When my wife went to walk our Greyhound and saw the mess I was in I think I actually convinced her that I was "working" not just "playing". How about some input, remember this is muck & roots all mixed together with the fill. Anyway, I'm attaching a few pics to give you a chuckle.
