Yep, dmccarty is right. I've been freezing a pint of blueberries from our bushes each day for over a week. We are not yet at the peak of the season. I give them several hours to overnight in the freezer before I use the Foodsaver. I'm also bringing in corn daily - - guess I'll cut some off for freezing too.

A great time of year, although the heat is finally here after a pretty cool spring.

Didn't know corn was ready that early there. It's usually about the last week of June or early July here, but the late freezes have put our corn crop in doubt...I sure hate to think about not getting corn this year; main reason I bought the Foodsaver.

Tassels just visible on my corn now we are a bit late here also due to extended winter but it sure looks good luckily.
