foot throttle, 2nd thread

Ok.. I have a side view of my tractor, and forward of the brake pedals, and slightly up, is a post protruding from the bell housing of the transmission..... it is suspiciously under the throttle linkage, in an area where something like a pedal might have gone?
Ideas?

I klnow it is hard to see, but under the throttle linkage, above the hyd lines... right of the brake pedals.

Is this the post where a foot throttle would have gone?

Hoping to see a bunch of other side shots of 1700's.. even that red one... I'm also trying to ascertain what mine originall ywas.. green or red.. and wondering how many differences there are between them.

on my 1802d the foot throttle pedal is on the bolt that also holds the parking brake lever, then there is a link that goes up to the hand throttle

I am guessing green. The frog lights give it away.

I wonder if there is a possibility that the whole hood assemble has been changed? Guess not likely...

Chris one other way to figure if your tractor had a foot throttle is to use the diagram from the parts book and look for other necessary items that would be required for the foot throttle. The part #6 in the diagram is where I'd start looking
