I'd have gone ball-peen. Less likely to catch and rip my pants.

I miss the treadle of my Kubota when I run my Deere with pedals because too often I’m pressing both forward and reverse pedals at the same time with my big boots. It's funny, because Kubota makes seriously good tractors by all accounts, but I keep hearing "I love my Kubota, but the treadle peddle..." from my few friends who own that brand.
If this pedal is such a turn-off or problem for so many buyers, you have to wonder why the brand insists on sticking by this design?
Yeah he's really reduced what they sell over the years.Paul did post here at one time but it’s been a longtime.
I followed his BX mods but 4shorts pictures say no available in his posts
You might be a redneck if you drive your tractor barefoot.Yeah he's really reduced what they sell over the years.
What he made looks like a 1" long piece of with a short piece of steel welded to the pipe and a short piece of 1/8' flat stock at 90 degrees as an extension welded to connect both. In a earlier model he had what I remember was the same setup with golf cleats drilled and taped into the pedal for traction. (don't use bare foot or else!)![]()
