In response to your drafts around controls, I have given some thought to this subject, I was going to fabricate some type of cover from the same material they use around overhead doors to seal out air leaks. It is mounted to a piece of aluminum and looks like the paint bristles of a hair brush. Chevrolet trucks use the same type of system around their 4-wheel drive floor mounted shift lever. You can buy this at www.mcmaster.com

Gee, I wish I would have thought of that...Oh wait-I did-check post # 13:D

I just re-read my B3030 cab manual, in one paragraph it says

"While working in dusty conditions keep the lever to "FRESH AIR" position. This increases the pressure in the cab. Which helps prevent dust from coming in the cab."

In dusty condition, I would have it on re-circulate thinking I didn't want the dusty air being pulled into the cab.
So the holes are OK, with fresh air coming in through the air filter, the air in the cab is being pushed out the holes around the pedals, levers etc. If these holes were not in the cab the system wouldn't work as well getting fresh air into the cab
I guess I should have read the manual more closely.
