Drove the 1600 home last night, only about a mile away. The guy said I could make an offer, so I offered him 400.00 and he took it, lol which sweetened the deal even more. The motor is spitting black oily droplets out of the exhaust, almost looked like black spray paint on the hood. I'll look into that soon. The rear area of the tranny/diff has water in the oil, will have to drain that. There is a filler plug/dipstick just behind the steering tower and in front of the shifters that shows nothing on the stick, where as the rear filler plug where the water is, is full to the top. I guess the two halves dont share the same fluid, be looking into that soon as well. The charging system has been butched, so its not charging, some wires have been cut. Was also glad to see clean green anti freeze in the radiator.
Any thoughts on the thin oily droplets coming out of the exhaust? Seems to be too thin for just burning oil. Thanks TB
