Hello, I need to replace two steel hydraulic lines on my 770B FEL. Unfortunately they’re the two longest lines (go to opposite side along top edge of the bucket). Can I just run hydraulic hose in their place? Or are replacement steel lines preferred? If so any idea where I can get a set?
Thanks

Yes you can use hose to replace the steel lines. If you have a good hydraulic shop in your area they might have the equipment to make replacement steel lines also. Might have to take the loader to them so they can bend to fit especially if old ones are bent and deformed.

Benefit of steel is they don’t deteriorate in the sun and possibly cost less than hose.

Benefit of hose and you can typically get hoses easier than finding someone to make steel lines.
