I've only seen the 1710 tractors with relief valve up by the right footrest. 1700 tractors seem to have it mounted on the quadrant cover. I have a version of the adapter plate for the 1700 as well.

Ya because the adapter plate is between the relief valve and control valve plate on my 1700.

Hi Everyone,

A while back I posted some pics of the rear remote valve I made for my 1710. See the last pic below, and here's a link to the original post:

https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/new-holland-owning-operating/344051-ford-1710-rear-remote-valve.html

I've had several people see that post and ask for help with their rear hydraulics. Most recently, a member requested help with plumbing a backhoe to the tractor hydraulics. He didn't need the valve mounted to the tractor, but just the bower beyond capability. He also didn't like plumbing into the diverter valve in front of the right footrest and running hoses to the back of the tractor. After unsuccessful searches for a HV4950 or SML25854 adapter plate, I ended up machining an adapter. I originally thought that this adapter would only fit the 1710, but it looks like it will fit the 1100-1900 (with slight modification) and 1110-1910 tractors with position control 3pt. Hopefully after all the messing around with the hydraulics I can be helpful to others looking to add rear hydraulics.

I assume this kit would NOT fit my 1920?

Nope, won't fit the 20 series tractors. Search for HV4945, I see some on eBay for ~$100 that fit the 1920. Not sure if the 1920 came with different plates like the 1710 did. The 1710 had position control of draft control and the plates were different.

Found a pic of the 1710 relief valve and diverter block. I don't think the 1700 is the same as 1710.

Greetings from a new member in CT.
I've added a good number of add on's to my 1710. I/m looking to add a hydraulic front grapple to do firewood.
I was planning to tap the hydraulics attached to the three point lift lever notch on the right side of the seat.
I am planning to tee the new hydraulics to the front and the back of the tractor.
May I ask your thoughts on using your power beyond block vs taping into the three point notch extra ports?

Thanks

Everett Condit

Greetings ...
I'm a new member in Ct. I'm wondering if you have any of the power beyond Aluminum adapter plates for a Ford 1710.
I think my post and pictures are at the end of your post.
I'm looking to add more hydraulics for a grapple for cutting fire wood.
My email is ecec240@gmail.com

Thanks

Everett

Greetings all...

Ted, thank you for posting the Aluminum connector block pictures.
Just today I got back to the project and pulled the three bolts under the seat and the triangular plate from under the seat. A quick start up had the hydro fluid pumping out of the lower front hole your "O" mark.

A quick give back...
While doing the bucket log lift project, and the log splitter log lift project, I found a company that has pistons, pumps, valves, every size and type of connector ever made... and more at great prices. The name says "surplus", but everything is new unless marked. They also offer a free catalog. Have a look at:

www.surpluscenter.com

Thanks again

Everett

$150 shipped. It includes all the fittings, orings, and hardware to mount. I made up 3 of them so have 2 left on the shelf. Send me a PM if you're interested.
Do you have any left for sale? I would like to run a 3 point log splitter on my 83 1710.
