Hi everyone, Yes I am new and don't know my way around this site yet, but I have a question I am splitting my 19900 Ford Tractor, and I can't figure out how to drop the drive shaft. I seen one article that said that there was a pilot hole to knock a pin out, to drop it, I sure can't find it. I don't have the same sleeve that has for bolts, as shown in his picture. I can't hire anyone to do the job so I have to try it my self. I sure can user a little advice. Thanks everyone. Don (veteranshonorwall@outlook.com

Should be about the same as a 1700. Just unbolt the flange at each end. If you split the tractor, the drive shaft will separate, no pins in there. View this post for photos of a 1700, 1700 Engine Rebuild - Page 3

Drain the trans and take the bolts out of the drop box. When you lower the drop box you can slide it off the drive shaft . You can also unbolt the front axle and roll it forward but since you are splitting the tractor I think the drop box is the best way.
