Ford 1910 Hydraulics

The three point lift on my 1910 will not lift a 6ft bushhog after the hydraulic fluid heats up. Also when an implement hooked to the three point is lifted to a neutral position not fully up the arms will bounce up and down.
I have replaced all the o-rings in the control valve, could it be the o-rings on the lift cylider, a bad pressure control valve or the is the pump going?
Has anyone rebuilt a pump for one of these? My service manual says to replace it as it is not serviceable and the parts manual does not list a rebuild kit.

The hitch hiccupping is most likely the result of a worn lift piston seal. If the seal is bad enough, there is an outside chance that is the whole problem, fix that first. Have you changed the oil and filter recently? Replacing the pump is the only reasonable option IF it is worn out. But you should do a pressure/flow test on it before arbitrarily replacing it.

I have not replaced the filter or fluid yet, the fluid looks good (not milky) and is at the proper level.
I was planning on doing a pressure check, replacing the lift piston seals and replacing the fluid and filter before I think about the pump.

Jeff,
One of the first things along with changing the filter would be to check the pressure. There has been quite a few members on TBN that have discovered their pressure to be quite a bit below where it should be.
