Ford 1910 vs 1920

I am a first time tractor buyer looking for a used 4 wheel drive tractor with loader to maintain 35 acres. I've found a Ford 1920 without a FEL for $10000, and a 1910 with FEL for $7500. Both have just under 500 hours. Is the 1920 worth the extra $. I assume I could add a FEL later. Any recommendations?

According to the information on another website, 1910 was made from 83-86 and was 29 hp at the pto. The 1920 was built from 87-2000 and was 29 hp at the pto. If you are going to need the loader I would go for the 1910 as a loader is going to run at least $3,000. This is of course if they are both four wheel drive. I had a 1710 for many years and a 2120 from 1987 until now, so I have experience with both series. They are both good tractors. Very dependable. The hours are very little. What trannies do they have? The 12x12 shuttle in the 2120 is a big improvement over what ever I had in the 1710. 20 series parts are also very available. I'm not sure about all 10 series parts. A local mechanic had problems getting some internal trans parts for a 1910. I would ask RickB or Spencer200 about parts availability. The 1920 is a somewhat more capable tractor. I think the loader would be in the 3-4,000 range. How are the tires. Are they loaded? I just had to do some welding on a rusted out valve stem area on the 2120 due to calcium use. The 1910 is older. I would not be afaraid to purchase either tractor depending on the trans in it.

Ditto what the others said. The 1920 is a great tractor.. I owned one for a few years.

Tranny options will make a difference.. and parts availability would be my determining factor.

Thanks for the input. I could list all the reasons I'm going for the 1920, but the truth is my wife liked it better. Maybe I should let her drive a new one.
