hi I am dave and I just joined this sight I have a 1966 ford 2000 and am rebuilding lift cover on the piston the shop manual says put on leather ring and o ring howerver the rebuilt kit has a plastic ring aleather ring and o ring when I tore down piston it has the plastic ringand not the leathe ring the book calls for what ring should I use thanks

Most likely the plastic backup ring is a replacement for the OEM leather ring. Install it per the instructions.

:anyone:hello Dave 1952 here got a little problem had to buy a new voltage stabilizer for 1966 ford 2000 old one has 3 terminals b and I on same double terminal the third terminal is marked with an E the new one has just 2 double terminals one set marked B the other marked I where do I plug the wire marked E lost
