Not positive on this but I think the ford loader models that will fit a 3000 are the 725, 730 and 740, maybe that will help you in searching for one. My 3400 has a 730 loader.

I installed a 730 loader on my 73 diesel 3000. No trouble yet, and yes, I found it on craigslist for $1000. In fact, I bought the loader before I owned my 3000, knowing I would find one to fit it on.

This is a 72 ford 2000 gas with a loader on it from a 3400. I do not know if it is the 720 you are referring to. But what I have here works pretty good.

1000# will be low for a loader, even with no subframe. I use 1-arm ford loaders and even those, with only 1 trans support, and 1 front support are rated for 1200#

soundguy

It seems like yesterday that a brochure for those thousand series Fords with one armed loaders came to my grand dad in the mail.

if it is a rear bracket that bolts to the axle, it will usually have a tie plate, though if the machine had rops, the top of the rops is the tie plate.

if that part is inline to bolt with the rear axle and you have a tie plate or rops, then it's just a matter of bolts.

Got you I don't belive I have the tie plates. I thought the rear brackets mount under axle through fender bolts holes. Could I make tie plates? My biggest issue is the front end. I have looked but can't figure out how it bolts up or mounts.

tie plates are nothing... if it has rops.. those are the plates.
