Ford 3550 Hydraulic issues

There's a drain plug in the bottom plate of the LH mast where the suction tube is connected; drain the oil there. Remove the suction tube and the 4 bolts retaining the bottom plate. Remove the plate, the filter will come with it. There are two filter choices and it is nearly impossible to tell which you need until you get the old one out. One choice comes with a mount gasket, the other does not.

That was a very straightforward job. The biggest problem was finding the filter. Thanks for all the tutoring!
