This is a little old but I am cleaning house for my daughter's visit for my birthday and am house bound. Got the chores done and now killing time for supper.
I have purchased about 6 of these units off ebay and have no idea as to who manufactures them. I keep my tractors under cover and don't wash them for reasons such as this and to keep water out of oiled/greased joints so I can't comment on one who leaves their equipment out in the weather. The unit mounts into a rubber mount that attaches to the fuel tank cover and seals off that interface. The units show no signs of sealing between the glass/plastic clear face and the aluminum frame, nor does the OEM. Therefore I can't help you on that but functionally, I love them.
